Interested in PreK at White Station Elementary?
We have 100 spots open for our PreK classrooms at White Station Elementary. 80 spots will be open for 4 year olds and 20 spots will be open for 3 year olds. This past year, we had over 350 students on our waiting list, so be sure to gather all documents you need before the deadline and complete your application as soon as you can to be considered for a spot. We can't wait to see you next year! Click the button below for eligibility, requirements, documents needed, and to learn more.
Prek students are not required to bring school supplies. However, we welcome donations to assist our students in learning experiences that go above your average classroom. We are extremely fortunate to have more than enough supplies for our students this year, so instead of having more of the same materials, Mrs. Davis and I have created an Amazon wish list for donations that we do need or would benefit our students this school year. Please click the link below if you would like to donate to our classroom! Thank you so much for your support!

Gear Up 4 School Day for PreK will mainly be to meet the teacher and to sign up for YCARE throughout the day if you would like to come. I will be at my son's school parent orientation from 9am-11am but will be at the school right after. From 5pm-6pm will be a meeting to learn all about our school, so I would definitely recommend coming out at that time. Students will enjoy popsicles and playing at the park while you hear all about WSE from our Principal, Dr. Breeden. We hope to see you out and can't wait to meet all of you!
Class Dojo
Class Dojo is the electronic behavior tool I use in my classroom. This allows parents to stay connected and receive notifications in real time on your smart phones to see how well your child is doing or if we are having a challenge or two. This resource allows you to contact me anytime you need by sending me a message directly through the app. I receive notifications and can get back to you faster than calling or texting. It also allows me to update you with pictures and messages throughout the day so you can always see what fun things are going on all day! There is also a translation button so you will always be able to communicate! Download the app and I will inform you of my classroom code the first week of school!
Pre-K Curriculum
Big Day for PreK is the curriculum we use in the classroom. Above, you will see the units and themes we will be learning throughout the year.
Homework
Homework will be sent home each Monday in Homework Folders for the week. Students are expected to complete their own work independently with assistance from parents. Homework folders will not be sent home on Fridays.
